June Long Weekend

We went to Caloundra for the June long weekend to celebrate Rod's birthday.  The weather was beautiful, and all had a lovely relaxing time.  The boys had their first successful fishing experience, one that I am sure will be fondly remembered for a long time!

Will's First Soccer Game

Will had his first outdoor soccer game yesterday.  His team won 3 - 0, and he surprised us with his skill and focus!!  Well done BIG BOY!!

School Reunion

I had my 15 year reunion last night.  Caught up with my close friends, Brad, Aileen and Leigh, and some not-so-close friends who were happy to 'catch-up' anyway!!  I made an attempt to look glamourous, and didn't scrub so bad.  It's funny that I was expecting all the 'popular' girls to still look fantastic, but soon found that life and babies has similar effects on most 32/33 year old bodies :-)...........we all looked pretty good for 32/33 year olds.

It will be interesting to see if a 20 yr reunion happens, and if just as many 37/38 year olds realise how unattractive excessive alcohol consumption looks......not to mention the health effects.

I'll get off my soap box now.

THE END of the day

I was on the phone at the boys bedtime last night.  Tom was happy to read his book - a really cool book that has a line that goes right throughout the book which creates all the illustrations.  I came it to find him asleep with the book propped up on his lap.  THE END of the day of a prep boy's life!!
